The Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design (TCID) at Kennesaw State University offers the BS in Technical Communication and the BS in Interactive Design. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for 9-month, Limited-Term Instructor or Limited-Term Assistant Professor of Technical Communication faculty position in the Department of Technical Communication and Interactive Design, beginning August 2022.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be asked to deliver 5 sections per semester of primarily TCOM 2010: Technical Writing. A fully online teaching schedule will be offered. Faculty will work with a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds.

Required Qualifications
  • For Limited Term Instructor - a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Technical Communication or a closely related field
  • For Limited Term Assistant Professor - a terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Technical Communication or a closely related field

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience with undergraduate or graduate students
  • Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community
  • Experience teaching 100% online or hybrid courses
