Lincoln Land Community College's Program Director of Diesel Technologies provides leadership and direction for Programs under Diesel Mechanics including maintaining compliance with any accreditation and safety standards. It also provides coordination of all activity within the programs; instruct program courses; and ensure sound operation of the program and equipment.

As a staff member at LLCC, you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 2 personal days, 15 sick days, and 20 vacation days per year. Starting salary is likely to be between $68,497 and $79,683 per year with an excellent benefits package. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education, training, experience, and skills.

Required Qualifications

Associates degree in diesel mechanics. Extensive work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 3 years recent experience in the field.
Ability to teach both theory and practice within several of the following fields: electrical and mechanical systems, electrical wiring and code, industrial maintenance, pneumatics/hydraulics, PLCs, mechatronics, automation, robotics, instrumentation and process control, and safety.
Possession of industry certifications preferred; if not, willingness and ability to become certified as well as maintain certification(s).

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
